21-23 November, 2024 – Dublin, Ireland
21st Postgraduate Cypriot Archaeology MEETING
In memory of Professor Petros Florides
PoCA aims to bring together Master’s graduates, PhD students and fresh postdoctoral researchers (within six years of the completion of their PhD), from various backgrounds and disciplines of Cypriot archaeology to present their research, meet colleagues who work in the same domain and exchange ideas in a friendly and collegial environment.
One of PoCA’s main objectives and conceptions is the organisation and publication of the conference by doctoral students for doctoral students and recent postdocs.
This year’s conference returns to Dublin after almost 20 years since its last organisation in 2005 and it is dedicated to the loving memory of Professor Petros Florides, an ambassador of Cyprus in Trinity (and Ireland more broadly).
